Ecumenical Churches Representatives And PCT Missionaries Invited To Share God’s Amazing Grace In PCT General Assembly

During the 62nd round of PCT General Assembly, from April 18 to 21, many guests from ecumenical churches were invited to attend this annual meeting. These ecumenical friends are Rev Hayashida Yoshiyuki and his wife Hayashida Kyko representing UCCJ(the United Church of Christ in Japan), Rev Juan A. Carmona and his wife Ruth Ayala Carmona from the Reformed Church in America, and Misss Judith Zuberr from Berliner Missionswerk.
Introduced by Rev Lyim Hong-tiong, PCT General Secretary, these ecumenical friends gave their greetings to the members of PCT General Assembly. Rev Ishibashi Hideo, Moderator of UCCJ, was specially invited by Rev Lyim to address to the members of PCT General Assembly. Rev Ishibashi expressed his heartfelt thanksgiving to PCT, after the Nuclear Disaster of March 2011, for her generous financial donation, annual reconstruction ministry participated by volunteer workers and holding very warm reception in Taiwan for the children from the inflicted areas in Japan.
In return for this care and charity shown among the body of Christ, UCCJ particularly donated 4 million Japanese Yen to support PCT’s reconstruction project after typhoon Nepartak devastatingly swept through eastern Taiwan in July 2016, according to PCT GA office. To honor and commemorate this precious bretheren love between UCCJ and PCT during the sufferings of the people, Rev Ishibashi Hideo was presented a gift from PCT by Rev Sudu Tada and Rev Lyim Hong-tiong in the PCT General Assembly.
To share current status of PCT’s evangelical missionary ministry overseas, Rev Chong Su-huei(PCT’s missionary to UK), Rev Kuo Kwan-chen(PCT’s missonary to Japan), and Rev Chen Rong-fu(PCT’s missionary to Sarawak) were also invited to deliver their ministry status to the assembly for reference.
