Yu Jie Launches His New Book: Raise Ribs As Torches – Taiwan Democracy Roadmap III

In the evening on July 2, a book-launch of famous Chinese dissident writer, Yu Jie, was held at the Chu-Ting-Tong Lecture Hall, located at the Tainan Bookstore of Taiwan Church Press.
It is the first time at Tainan Yu launched his new book, entitled as “Raise Ribes as Torches – Taiwan Democracy Roadmap III”, intending to introduce to the readers 100 democratic sites of Taiwan including previous two roadmap books (I & II) and an imminent sequel of roadmap IV.
Since his forced-to-flee from China 13 years ago, Yu Jie expressed, Taiwan had become his most important base to publish his writings, especially after the event of Causeway Bay Books Disapearances. “Taiwan is my second hometown”, said Yu Jie.
