爸母真用心教導,阮兜大大細細攏會曉讀白話字(POJ)聖詩kap聖經,佇不知不覺煞行入成人羅馬字(LMJ)教學,這真正是意外ê旅程。我佇鳳山社區大學、佇師大有開「台語文」 kap 「母語檢定」課程, 學員頭一擺看著羅馬字, 有人感覺真簡單、真緊就掠著鋩角,小可仔鼓勵就會曉寫家己經歷過 ê 代誌kap故事,若投稿變做印刷品刊出,in真正歡喜kah袂顧得。白話字chhoā 逐家進入台文世界,有真濟項目通研讀,親像鬥句、押韻、七字仔、歌仔調、俗諺語、《台灣府城教會報》(《台灣教會公報》)ê詩詞、記事, hō͘ 咱通了解當時ê社會演變。

長期佇成人班教學,我發現母語流失已經真嚴重。簡單ê俗諺語:「細漢偷挽瓠,大漢偷牽牛。」袂少青壯年毋捌聽過,需要舉例解說。免講先人、前輩用POJ寫ê文獻、記事、小說……,若親像讀天書。咱這代已經真困難了解當時kap現代語詞ê變化,需要成立讀冊會互相稽考,想欲進一步進修、研究ê人猶原無濟,南部幾間社區大學,四常報名人數無夠煞無法度開班。

百外冬來,POJ無進入教育體制內,kan-ta靠民間、靠教會辦ê主日學就傳授kah真好勢。彼當時逐家讀POJ、出月刊、季刊、雜誌……。中國國民黨政府來台灣了後,禁止逐款母語,致使咱這代ê序細講台語用「華語」ê思考方式、寫文章用「華語」直譯,講透濫台語腔口ê「台灣國語」。台語已經漸漸失味。自按呢母語折站、無受重視,教會也失去早前chhui-sak POJ ê 熱情,雖然猶有袂少長輩會曉讀POJ,嘛無啥舞台通發揮。

面對認真想欲學習ê成人,心內一面歡喜、一面憂,歡喜ê是有人咧重視母語,憂ê是遐濟人強欲失語。啥時母語才閣有春天?有一句話講:「凡事起頭難。」《教會公報》「台文世界」雖然版面無濟,毋過有提供好ê平台, hō͘ 猶袂hoa–khì ê火脈,chhun這个氣絲仔,是咱恢復母語、搶救母語 ê 好機會。逐家攏知家庭是 chhui-sak 母語上大 ê 要素,當囡仔叫阿公變做「爺爺」,叫阿媽變「奶奶、婆婆」ê時陣,表示真濟鄉親已經放棄真媠ê祖語。教台語當然足有意義,有時靜靜咧思考嘛會感覺稀微、稀微。尤其若看著幼兒園ê老師,用華語教細漢ê囡仔兄、囡仔姊唱歌、講故事。講來已經毋是kan-ta淡薄仔憂……。

POJ chhoā tāi-ke chìn-ji̍p Tâi-bûn sè-kài, ū chin chē hāng-bo̍k thang gián-tho̍k, chhin-chhiūⁿ tàu-kù, ah-ūn, chhit-jī-á, koa-á-tiāu, sio̍k-gān-gí, “Tâi-oân Hú-siâ Kàu-hōe-pò” (“Tâi-oân Kàu-hōe Kong-pò” ) ê si-sû, kì-sū, hō͘ lán thang liáu-kái tong-sî ê siā-hōe ián-piàn.

Tn̂g-kî tī sêng-jîn-pan kàu-ha̍k, góa hoat-hiān bó-gí liû-sit í-keng chin giâm-tiōng. Kán-tan ê sio̍k-gān-gí: “Sè-hàn thau bán pû, toā-hàn thau khan gû.” Bē-chió chheng-chòng-liân m̄-bat thiaⁿ–kòe, su-iàu kí-lē kái-soeh. Bián kóng sian-jîn, chiân-pòe ēng POJ siá ê bûn-hiàn, kì-sū, siáu-soat….., ná chhin-chhiūⁿ tha̍k thian-su. Lán chit-tāi í-keng chin khùn-lân liáu-kái tong-sî kap hiān-tāi gí-sû ê piàn-hoà, su-iàu sêng-li̍p tha̍k-chheh-hōe hō͘-siong khe-khó, siūⁿ beh chìn chi̍t-pō͘ chìn-siu, gián-kiù ê lâng iû-goân bô chē, lâm-pō͘ kúi-keng siā-khu tāi-ha̍k, sù-siông pò-miâ jîn-sò͘ bô kàu sóa bô hoat-tō͘ khui pan.

Pah-goā tang lâi, POJ bô chìn-ji̍p kàu-io̍k thé-chè lāi, kan-ta khò bîn-kan, khò kàu-hōe pān ê Chú-ji̍t-o̍h tō thoân-siū kah chin hó-sè. Hit tong-sî tāi-ke tha̍k POJ, chhut go̍eh-khan, kùi-khan, cha̍p-chì…… Tiong-kok Kok-bîn-tóng chèng-hú lâi Tâi-oân liáu-āu, kìm-chí ta̍k-khoán bó-gí, tì-sú lán chit tāi ê sī-sè kóng Tâi-gí ēng “Hoâ-gí” ê su-khó hong-sek, siá bûn-chiuⁿ ēng “Hoâ-gí” ti̍t-e̍k, kóng thàu-lām Tâi-gí khiuⁿ-kháu ê “Tâi-oân Kok-gí”. Tâi-gí í-keng chiām-chiām sit-bī. Chū án-ne bó-gí chi̍h-chām, bô siū tiōng-sī, kàu-hōe iā sit-khì chá-chêng chhui-sak POJ ê jia̍t-chêng, sui-jiân iáu-ū bē chió tióng-pòe ē-hiáu tha̍k POJ, mā bô siáⁿ bú-tâi thang hoat-hui.

Bīn-tùi jīn-chin siūⁿ beh ha̍k-si̍p ê sêng-jîn, sim-lāi chi̍t-bīn hoaⁿ-hí, chi̍t-bīn iu, hoaⁿ-hí–ê sī í-keng ū lâng leh tiōng-sī bó-gí, iu–ê sī hiah chē lâng kiông beh sit-gí. Siáⁿ-sî bó-gí chiah koh ū chhun-thiⁿ? Ū chi̍t kù ōe kóng: “Hoān-sū khí-thâu lân.” Kàu-hōe kong-pò “Tâi-bûn Sè-kài” sui-jiân pán-bīn bô chē, m̄-koh ū thê-kiong hó ê pêⁿ-tâi, hō͘ iáu-bōe hoa–khì ê hóe-me̍h, chhun chit ê khùi-si-á, sī lán hoe-ho̍k bó-gí, chhiúⁿ-kiù bó-gí ê hó ki-hōe. Tāi-ke lóng chai-iáⁿ ka-têng sī chhui-sak bó-gí siāng toā ê iàu-sò͘. Tng gín-á kiò a-kong piàn-chòe “ê-ê”, kiò a-má piàn “nâi-niâ, phô͘-phô͘” ê sî-chūn, piáu-sī chin chē hiong-chhin í-keng hòng-khì chin súi ê chó͘-gí. Kà Tâi-gí tong-jiân chiok ū ì-gī, ū sî chēng-chēng leh su-khó mā ē kám-kak hi-bî, hi-bî. Iû-kî nā khoàⁿ tio̍h iù-jî-oân ê lāu-su, ēng Hoâ-gí kà sè-hàn ê gín-á-hiaⁿ, gín-á-ché chhiùⁿ koa, kóng kò͘-sū. Kóng–lâi í-keng m̄-sī kan-ta tām-po̍h-á iu….
