A Community-Level Service Center Of Long Term Care Is Ready To Operate In Changhua County

On April 13, a press conference, entitled as “Grocery on the Corner for Long Term Care version 2.0 – To be a Healthy Good Neighbor” and held by A Skin-Graft With Love Foundation, formerly announced the C(ommunity)-Level Service Center cooperating with some professional guilds is ready to launch in every community among the Changhua City.
Ms Jan Li-chu, chief executive officer of A Skin-Graft With Love Foundation, gave her special thanks-giving to the efforts made by Mr Yeh Bor-yen, chief of Public Health Bureau of Changhua County Government, for his efficient organization of different professional guilds as service provider for the C(ommunity)-Level Service Center. Up to date, local professional guilds signed up to invest their resources and services are: physician, Chinese medicine physician, dentist, pharmacist, occupational therapist, physical therapist, and even a fleet shop of Gaia Board Game Club.
The C-level long term care in local communities among Changhua City will be offered on local demands and characteristics, said Ms Jan, adding that the initial phase of the service is to implement a general survey of the health conditions for the elder in each community, and then a prescription for health or medicare will be issued by those contracted professional experts.
Mr Wei Ming-ku, Magistrate of Changhua County Government, promised in the press conference that both Erlin and Lukang township would be implemented with this kind of community-level service center before the end of 2017 in order to integrate local resources and deliver indigenous medicare service.
