Rev David Alexander And His Wife, Mrs Charlene Bos Alexander, Granted Taiwanese ID Card

In order to express a deep appreciation to an incessant four decades’ service to Taiwan society by the American missionary couple, Rev David Alexander and his wife, Mrs Charlene Bos Alexander, Taiwan government officially granted them Taiwanese ID cards in a ceremony held at Tainan Theological College and Seminary(TTCS) on July 13.

Witnessed by the audience and Rev Wong Tiong-yau, president of TTCS, both Mr Chen Chon-yen, Deputy Minister of Ministry of the Interior, and Mr Chang Chau-yuan, Deputy Mayor of Tainan City Government, representing Taiwan government to pay their tributes to Rev David Alexander and his wife and gave them Taiwanese ID cards, household certificate, and Tainan citizen cards symbolizing a thanksgiving for their patient and courageous service for Taiwanese people.

Except giving their thanks for the involved parties, TTCS, Chang Jung Christian University, Immigration Agency of MOI and Eastern District Office of Tainan City Government, contributing to make this wonderful thing happened, both Rev Alexander and his wife pledged in their joint-statement that they will proclaim the inspiring stories of Taiwan wherever they go and pray for Taiwan whatever happen in the future to let Jesus’ love prevail everywhere!
