To introduce to Taiwan public the first printing machine, which had served Taiwan church and society since 1885, Taiwan Church Press(TCP) starts to exhibit a specially manufactured retro replica of this printing machine at the 2017 Taipei International Book Exhibition(TiBE) dated from February 8 to 13. As to the original printing machine, it is now well preserved in the school history museum of Chang Jung High School at Tainan.

Except a live curatorial guidance of TCP’s replica printing machine will be presented at TiBE site, i.e. B1124 of general publisher in Hall 1 of Taipei World Trade Center at 8:00 p.m. on February 10 and 3:00 p.m. on February 11 & 12 respectively, TiBE visitors can also experience an actual operation of this retro replica printing machine to learn how this still living church newspaper was printed out materially 130 years ago to move Taiwan society forward!

In the meantime, two new books: In the Beginning Were Stories, Not Texts: Story Theology and Paul the Outstanding Apostle written by the renown Taiwan theologian C. S. Song, and one new book of modern Taiwan church history entitled as Joseph and His Brothers by Theology Professor Chin Ken Pa, are launched by TCP to meet Taiwan readers interested about Christian theology and Taiwan Church history.
