PCT’s Ministry For Senior Citizens And Youth Across The Island

Either to celebrate the Double Ninth Festival for the senior citizens or care about a holistic faith of youth from mountain, rural or college, PCT held versatile ministries across the island in the September and early October.

In the morning on October 8, over 700 senior citizens attended a thanks-giving service celebrating Double Ninth Festival at Fong-shan church of So-shan presbytery. Noteworthy is that more than 300 senior citizens are over 80 years old to accept an heartfelt salute and congratulation from the audience!

On September 30, about 700 senior citizens attended an assembly, organized by PCT Cha-yi presbytery in Raiiway Culture Park at Hsin-yin city, celebrating for marriage over 50 years. There are 13 senior couples awarded with “Gold Marriage”(over 50 years of marriage) and 9 couples with “Diamond Marriage”(over 60 years of marriage).
