Heng Chun Christian Hospital Delivers Mobile Service of Bathing-At-Home

Reported by Lin Wan-ting

A relaxing shower is taken for granted for ordinary people after duty-off or class-over, but for the disabled or the elder it’s a highly risky in-house movement exposed to un-expected fall, fractures and even fatal injuries.

In the past, instead of offering a satisfying shower or bath-in-tub, Taiwan hospitals or senior care centers could only provide a towel-rubbing service for the disabled or the elder to solve the problem of daily cleaning.

Now, Heng Chun Christian Hospital(HCCH), deciding to solve this problem and care for the disabled and the elder, launches a mobile service of Bathing-At-Home and showcases their bathing automobile, devices and procedures at the hospital on March 25.

“As HCCH is the evangelist of love and an angel of love, the disabled or the elder with handicap are expected to feel the bodies cleansed by water, the minds warmed up with tender care and the souls are immersed in love within the automobile service of Bathing-At-Home”, HCCH Superintendent Dr Chen Chih-chen says.
