Copy the Bible to Renew the Strength

Reported by Lin Yi-ying

To celebrate the 104 anniversary of Fong-Lin Presbyterian Church’s ministry and respond to the Taiwan Church Press’s initiative of copying the Bible reminiscent of the spirit of the Reformation, Rev Chiwan House encourages her assembly to copy the scripture as a practical method of personal worship and daily devotion.

During her itinerary visit to her church members, Rev House found surprisingly that Mrs Chang Yu-chan, a 92-year-old sister who suffered a gigantic loss of her husband and two other family members during the heinous 228 massacre happened in 1947, had manually copied the scriptures half an hour at least daily and accumulated 4 notebooks of biblical verses in the past decades to find the comfort and peace from God.

To witness the power and solace from the Word of God, after gaining Mrs Chang’s approval, Rev House sends these notebooks of copied verses to Taiwan Church Press for an exhibition to be held in mid-September.
